When I was in Vietnam, I applied for one scholarship by the Australian government. I was successful. Then I applied for study at University of Sydney as this is the biggest university in Australia according to the recommendation by my teachers in high school. It was a very good university, and I was very happy that I followed the instructions. I just wanted you - who are prospective members of the University - give one advice: try your best to study, and you will have a good job once you graduate.

The selection process was very easy. I had enough English score to get in the Computer course. As University of Sydney is a big university, it has very high English language requirements. You need to follow the instructions to apply for the visa, and it would not be difficult.

I received the funding to cover tuition fee and living costs, which are very good. I found the scholarship on the local newpapers. If you dont get scholarship, please prepare enough finance for your study. It is very hard to work part time to cover all expenses.

The course was very handy, with leading lecturers in the field. I spent about 30 hours to study. I receive all the support that I needed. The course was very value for money. The tutors are also helpful to international students, too.

The university facilities are very modern, and I really enjoyed my time at this University. Sydney is a very big city, and my fellow students are fun. They are mostly from Asia, especially Chinese, so I had the chance to practise my Chinese with them too :) It was not easy to find part time job because there are a lot of international students who want to have jobs. The job environment is very competitive.

My job prospect has increased a lot thanks to my studies. I will be keeping in touch with other friends. Now I am now continuing with my studies. I am doing PhD at the moment.
